Can Someone Identigy this Turkey for Us??

Hello.

This is my very first post on this site. I've been using this site for information for a year and absolutely love it. We recently got two new turkeys and I'm curious as to what the breed is of one of them. Can anyone help me out? I appreciate it!

That looks like a broadbreasted bronze tom.

Beautiful bird. Is he for eating or for a pet? Do turkeys make good pets? Are they noisy, mean, do they lay eggs? Thank you in advance for any info.

Crazyfeathers, he's a pet. He's not mean at all. In fact, he likes to keep away from us as much as possible. We love the noises he makes. We also have a female and she did lay some eggs last spring. He fans out like in the picture every time we go over there. I think it has something to do with him trying to impress the female, but I don't know for sure.
