Can someone please explain Artificial Insemination to me?

This may be a dumb question, but why in the WORLD would you want to cross a chicken and a guinea? I have never heard of this. If ANYBODY has pictures of the resulting bird, please post them.

Bantams are quite capable of successfully fertilizing large fowl. I would be very surprised is a silkie could not fertilize a guinea hen--I had one fertilize a brahma (not bantam) and an orpington (also not bantam). The question is more one of whether he would be interested--my guess is that it is likely.

Ha, sorry. I should shut up on subjects I know nothing about. I still haven't eaten breakfast yet so I'd rather not watch the video.
