Can someone please help!! Someone with experience. PICS ADDED

I know #1 definitely is a cockerel and I'm questioning #3. My buffs are 7 wks. now and have quite the comb and wattles coming in, so I know all of your buffs are pullets.

#1 is a cockerel for sure.
#5 I have no experience with that breed at that age. I bought mine at 10 weeks.
#11 (Buffy) does have a larger comb than your other ones, but my Buff Orpington cockerel who is 4 weeks has a comb that size so I'm not sure.

Ok here are the pics ya'll requested, The difference in sizes and amount of tail feathers is confusing me, both sets of chicks hatched out of the same batch.

The Welsummers are backwards, males have black on their chests. I know the combs look crazy, ignore them at this age. Coon is a roo, Dixie is still unsure but I'd guess roo. If she was sexed by a hatchery, believe them

lol I had the wellsummers backwards!! So Hank is a boy

The americanas were sold as pullets...go figure. I totally agree with you about coon.

Thanks

I'd put #3 as a roo as well.

I find buff orps deceptive as youngsters, been fooled a few times by sexchangeartists. One day you're sure it's a ___ and the next day growth spurt and wham nope it's the other.

So a few roos rather than fewer roos. Best of luck.

I say 1 is a roo, the other questionables I would lean toward pullets.....

PS> my buffs always had large combs as young chickens too.
