Can someone please let me know if it’s a hen or rooster

I just recently got this 8 month old chick they told me it’s a hen, but starting to wonder if its really a hen or rooster the saddle feathers are rounded. can someone please help

I vote cockerel. The barring in the wing and the reddish in the tail/rump is giving cockerel to me, hens don't usually have coloring/pattern like that ime

The saddle feathers look pointy to me. I vote cockerel too.

I see how the longer saddles are rounded, but the short ones at the base look very pointy. The scattered orange on the tail also leans cockerel and there might be a bit of orange on the wings. If there is, with this combo, definite cockerel.

It's a male
