You can always just trim the fluff and let them breed naturally, which is a better choice anyway...

Thats a good video. I find it easier to have someone hold a spoon, or test tube to catch the semen, and then suck it out of there instead of directly from the bird.

a spoon would almost work just as good as a test tube. i never thought of that. i hear some guys even just use there finger to carry the semen. the hen doesnt need muc to be fertile!

I know a guy that uses his finger. It's amazing how little it takes...

But the more semen you put into her, the "hopefully" longer she'll stay fertile if something were to happen to that male.
