Can someone please tell me the sex...

We purchased our very first pair of Peking Bantam at the weekend and were told that both are females; however, I am not too sure.... could someone please help confirm whether or not this little one is female?
Hopefully the pictures will work (sorry they are sideways)!

How old are the birds? If she is not at point of lay or laying age then the comb wouldn't be red yet so would be a cockerel.

Many thanks; the gentleman said they were POL, the other (golden) being younger and without the red comb. I am a bit of a worry wort!

I'd say it's a pullet then and you can expect eggs from that one any day now. If you search google images or on here you'll see that breeds rooster sports a large comb and as with all cockerels the neck feathers would be pointed and at 5 months age (POL for pullet) saddle feathers developed.

Thank you all for your help. We took him back; the gentleman confirmed he was a he and exchanged him for a lovely hen

Since then we have turned our 10sqft summer house into a coop with a enclosed outside area attached , accessed by a sliding door which is closed at night for safety. It's full height and they (now 5 of them) seem to love it. I love them to bits!
