Can someone post a picture of an EE hen at 8 or 9 weeks?

Actually they didn't eat the mean rooster, but the guy who owned him was a police officer, so you can guess how that ended.

I'd do some research on how to raise a respectful cockerel/rooster now. Its easy to do something wrong early that effects his behavior later.
Its part of why I avoided getting a rooster earlier. When I finally did get one, I bought a full grown rooster and checked him out first. Later, when he was taken, I got a cockerel and I integrated him in with the adults as early as possible. This way they could teach him manners.

I would hate to have to kill my roo. He's the sweetest little chicken and he used to get anxiety when I left him. Hopefully he'll stay sweet.

My neighbors had a rooster who would jump on your back when you turned around, and would spur you and not let go. Is that uncommon? I can ask my friend who will be taking care of our animals while we're gone to handle him. He would be a good breed to show....

He’d be good if you want to hatch eggs.

But you would not be able to show him since he’s not a pure breed.
