Can someone suggest a recipe/ prototype for homemade soy free feed?

Hi! I am new to chicken rearing, started 2 weeks ago, so far, I enjoy the hens so much. I really want the best fro them, and for our family. The whole point of keeping our own chickens is to know what we are putting into our bodies. My chickens are laying hens only, I am looking for a formula for making my own chicken feed that is free of soy and as close to their natural diet as possible. I have considered raising mealworms, still might take the plunge. For now, if any one has a grain/seed mix that works for them, I'd love to hear about it. My hens are free range during the day, in at night. Winters here will keep them from finding a lot to eat on their own.

I want to Know too! I am feeding. my girls organic feed that is pre-mixed but wanted to see if i made my own if it would be cheaper....I googled for some recipes and found some but at the moment if I bought all organic ingredience separately seems more expensive...right now I pay 25$ every three weeks for my 10 pulluts..that seems expensive too!

Homemade Chicken Feed (organic, non-GMO, non-soy)

You will need:
– 12 cups organic, feeder oats (.34 cents/lb)
– 8 cups organic, soft white wheat (.38 cents/lb)
– 8 cups organic, hard red wheat (.26 cents/lb)
– 6 cups organic corn (.42 cents/lb)
– 4 cups organic lentils (.54 cents/lb)
– 4 cups organic split peas (.47 cents/lb)
– 2 cups organic flax seed (1.68/lb)
– 1 cup sesame seeds (2.27/lb)
– 3/4 cup kelp granules (3.25/lb)
– 2 tablespoons olive oil, coconut oil, or molasses
