Can someone tell me about seramas?

I need some info as I saw some at the feed store (were not for sale) and I loved them! They were nearly full grown and very small. What do I need to know about them? Are they heat tolerant? What are their housing needs? Are they somewhat friendly? Where can I get some in texas?
