I cant tell you what breed they are, but I can tell you their "e" allele maybe that could help? the first chick is a "eb"(Brown or partridge) and the second chick which is a boy is a "E" Extended Black cockerel... maybe a black sex link?

No- there are several possibilities. Many breeds hatch "chipmunk" and black.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say the brown is an EE and the black an Australorp. Granted, most farms allow all their birds to mix and mingle so, in reality, they are probably barnyard mixes.
