Thanks. These would be bantam version cause they're really small! Kinda disappointed as we wanted good meat and layers but these were our first chickens and we had no idea about them! I'd like to try Delawares.

I think that it would be easy for you to trade with someone your birds for some other breed of good layers and meat ( AKA dual purpose chickens) I know I would take those of your hands in a flash.

We're trying to do some trading on them. They are real pretty birds and they haven't cause me any trouble. They lay a really small egg and it's not gonna get bigger, which was our whole reason for getting chickens but didn't do any kind of reading into the breeds before we got them. Lol. White and black roo does get up on the top of the shed and coop thought, but he stays in their fenced area. Only time I saw fighting was when we added the second trio but it was long enough to establish pecking order and haven't seen much since.
