can someone tell me what kind of chickens I have?

HI,
I am new to chicken keeping. I got my 3 girls as a present in april. But the person who gave them to me didn't know what kind they were. I have narrowed it down to white rock or white leghorn. Can anyone tell me which they are, or the difference between them? Thanks

I don't know a way to tell them apart until they start laying. White rocks lay brown eggs and leghorns lay white eggs.

Someone more experienced than myself may be able to tell you just from the pic

What color are their earlobes? Red earlobes = brown eggs & white earlobes = white eggs.

My Ca. White Leghorns have pinkish earlobes. But my barred rocks have red earlobes big difference in the color.

I have white (plymouth) rocks- they have really red combs- not yellow.

Yes, white Leghorns. Without even looking at the ears, you can tell by the body style. They look like they are lean, and standing pretty upright, with long tails. Rocks are plumper.

Are they kind of skiddish?
