We figured our Silver Laced Wyndotts had the same happen. We figured double mistake in our favor as 25 out of 26 were hens. We were able to hatch more chicks with that rooster. That was 9 years ago. Sometimes all the roosters and drakes we have gotten since seem like pay back.
