I've been raising Easter Eggers for a while now, and just adore their muffs and beards. This little guy is from my most recent hatch, and I'm curious whether anyone else who raises EEs or Ameraucanas has ever had a bird whose muff was so fluffy that it limited vision. It keeps getting in this little ones eyes. Does it need a trim, or just let it be?

I'd give it a little trim. Hopefully she'll grow out of it once her big girl feathers come in. I never usually have to trim beards, but I do have a few crests I have to trim down.

Fingers crossed she'll hold still for me. Never had to give a chick a "haircut" before, lol :)
