Can these guys be friends mixing duck breeds

i have 6 runner ducks(I think they are mutts they only stand straight sometimes) I'm giving to a friend. my daughter wants to keep 1 male. i have scovies boys and girls and a goose. They are all about the same age Can we keep just the 1 runner with this group? they all live together now. how will he do in the group with out his brothers and sisters?

If he gets along with the scovies, he will be fine. But if he breeds with a girl, and those eggs hatch, the offspring of the runner and scovie will be "mutts" (so they will be serile)
