Can they be on shavings? Eating paper towels!!!

My chicks are going on shavings today. I'm sick of the icky mess from using doggie piddle pads. The 12 of them can booger up a pad in a flash and they all have sort of messy "bellies" from lying in poo, no matter how many times a day I change the pads! At least they are pretty absorbent and there's really nothing they can pick up from them to eat. My chicks are a week old. And they sure know how to eat their food. LOL They are little piggies!! They even fall asleep face-down in the feeder!!

^^^^^^Amen! The girls went onto shavings last night. I said, "Alright, Girls, you're going to live on shavings like all the other chickens! Now, do the right thing!"

They are alive and happy this morning. My chickens are pets and they cause me great anxiety when I worry about them, and great happiness when they are acting so adorably chickeny.
