My friend has a load of hens (lohmann Browns). He also has a rooster which is a Bantam. He's noticed recently that the rooster had been mating with the hens. Is it possible for a hen which has mated with a Bantam breed to produce fertile eggs?

I'm guessing it is but just wanted to make sure before I throw some in the incubator.

We have hatched many cute little bantam / standard mixes from our bantam roosters. They have no problem with it - and they are the cutest medium sized chickens

I have a Japanese bantam roo and all of my hens are standard sized. His babies come out medium, but a little closer to bantam than standard.
Edit: I found a photo of him with one of his daughters that we lost. The adult, not the chick.
