My black polish was crowing (not perfectly, but it was crow-ish to me) this morning. I've thought he was a cockerel anyway, but can they grow at this early of an age? He's only about six weeks old.

I heard some crow even earlier than that! It really depends on the individual, as well as the breed.

Their first crows are so cute.

They can most definitely crow at 6 weeks. It really depends on the breed, but most of my cockerels have crowed by 5-6 weeks. And if they are crowing, you can be quite sure they're cockerels.
