Can they fly????

Hi, was just wondering if anyone else's runner ducks can fly?...my female took off to about my knee height today!!

Yes they can fly although usually not to the extent that they could fly for long distances. My old runners could do a low lap across the yard, but not fly around high in the sky like my Hookbills and mallard.

I got these at a country show when they were 6 days old and was told they were runners....they are 9 weeks old now...what do u think they are?
