Hello,
I just got 2 baby chicks and some eggs. I'm not sure how old they are but they seem to be loving my carpet and I was wondering at what age is okay to take them outside to the grass. I'm attaching the best picture I took. Hope this helps.
Thank you

Are you providing heat for them? They will need heat until they are feathered out. You can take them out for a little while at a time as long as you are with them, and it is warm. If they do a lot of loud chirping, they may be cold.

Yes, they are inside and have heat 24h. But today is a nice day and warm and I was thinking maybe for like 10m. Would that be okay?

One more dumb question. They seem to peck into everything. Is it okay if they ended up eating something?
