Can they live in thier coop already?

My poor planning has made their brooder not a good home for them as they are now able to jump out of their pen! We have build a coop that is mobile and is currently in our garage. If we limit the space that is available and the heat that they need can we move out 10 day old chicks into the coop from their brooder?

Since your mobile coop is secure in the garage it should be fine for the chicks. I know I was surprised be how quickly the chicks were able to flap out of the brooder the first time I raised them. I ended up putting a screen over the top to keep them inside.
