I have RI reds, 5 weeks old, and would like to keep them outside in the coop/run. In Fl. the temp is at least 60 at night. What do you think? Thanks.

I would go for it, so long as they're mostly feathered. Just make sure they have plenty of bedding to snuggle into, if they get chilly they should cuddle up together for warmth. Good luck!

We put ours out two weeks ago. They were about 5-6 weeks old and pretty much feathered out. We DID run a power cord out there to put a lamp in their coop and we keep it on most of the time. However, the roost is away from the lamp, and they are happier on their roost than under the lamp. I have 12 out there together and they seem to be pretty comfortable. Go for it!

Holy cow, YES! Go for it!!!!
