Can this be done without problems?

I am looking into buying a couple of chicks off of a member here this coming Monday. She told me that hers are 2 weeks old. We were also going to be getting new chicks this Monday or Tuesday (from a feed store).

Will this be ok or will it cause problems?

Most of the time it works out OK. I've got Silkies, they seem to be more tolerant of the newbies. I just brought a month old into the house today and put it in with much younger chicks, things have gone quite well.
