Can turkey chicks be given click medicated food

I always used med chick starter for turkeys. never for ducks.

once they are hunched and lethargic, their chance of living is about 2%.

mainly all you can do is prevention.
I think I mentioned that chickens are the carriers. and the poults have to be isolated from any place that chickens occupied. that includes the ground outside the coop.

Thanks to everyone advice, I put thr turkey chicks in a different box and gave them half chick medicated and half game grower I haven't had a loss in a 24 hours so here's hoping, I never had this problem I always put them on turkey medicated but I couldn't find it anywhere. So again thanks for the help.

Corid (amprollium) is sold in most feed stores in the cattle medicines, or ask for it. You can get it online easily, but that may take too long. Call around feed stores in your area. Outside of the US, other brands of amprollium are sold as well as toltrazuril or sulfa antibiotics. A necropsy on a dead poult may show swollen blue or bloody intestines if coccidiosis is the problem.
