If you boil grains there are usually hops in the boil too, right? Mylimited brewing knowledge says that the hops are also added inthe boil, unless you dry hop, are certain recipes grain only?
The grains are removed from the wort (the "pre-beer" liquid made during boiling) before hops are added. They're perfectly fine, though of course a lot of nutrition's been removed from the grain and left in the wort.
