I have 3 hens and 3 Pekin Ducks. They all free range and then I lock them up at night. My boyfriend treated the property thinking he was helping with lawn care weed and feed type product with a spreader and also sprayed weed killer in the flower beds. I'm furious sice we all eat Organic!!!! Without telling me other organic options that I already know...can anyone give the real answer on if I can let any of them on the grass and can we eat the eggs still? If we can't eat the eggs is is still safe to let the ducks out, because they are soooo missing their pond :( Thank you

You should wait till it rains a couple of times before letting them back out

I hope this helps

Not chicken related, but just in case, be aware that weed and feed will eventually kill trees if applied to grass around the trees.

I understand your frustration. My property is as chemical free as I can make it. My father in law lived with us for about 7 months, and I came home to him using Roundup. Ugh.

I hear your frustration. I'd be livid! Wait. How long, I can't answer that. You might call the manufacturer, but realize that you're going to get a candy coated response. You could contact the writers at Organic Gardening magazine, or some similar organization.
