Can we eat these eggs or we need to do something to it first

I feed my chickens semolina, oats, and cooked rice it's to bad to do that?

The people who gave us our hens, said for us not to feed them raw oats .They say it will swell up inside their stomach and cause them to get sick, for this reason, I do not feed my hens oats ( just to be to be on the safe side).

I can't tell from this angle, but they look like Pharoah Quail. If you compare this picture to one in this link, there is a striking similarity.

Edited to add: For more info on quail, here is a link to the Quail forum (where I usually hang out, I just stopped in on a whim). This article has detailed info on egg laying, how to tell the hens from the roos and what to feed them etc, . Here is a link to the nutritional value of quail eggs.
