@Samjo I am so sorry you are going to have to rehome your cockerel. And also that you will have to find a new pullet that is close to this girl's age.
With that said, Welcome from New Orleans. This is a great place for information and fun chatter.
Back to your problem, try posting on your state thread, you may have luck there and if you are dealing with a BYC person you are less likely to end up in the situation you are in. Most of us are knowledgeable and honest. I hope everything works out, your birds are very pretty and you just need someone who wants a cockerel and is willing to trade a pullet or hen for your cockerel.
