Can we start another Swap or is that not allowed anymore?

So, maybe there should be a list of those who don't send what they say they will in a timely manner and not be allowed to swap in the future. No need to ruin it for everyone.

I have seen other boards that have done something like this and one person was in charge. I think what they did was everyone sent their items to ONE main person and they included a couple of extra dollars for shipping.

That main person kept track of who sent in items and then made sure they were sent something back.

I love swaps!! I have been in a few that I was burned in, but I have also been in ones that were great. Why not make it public who your swapping with so you know if you dont recieve it whos to blame. Im not talking about making the address's public, just have one person in charge of the addresses and then only send out the address to the one person whos gonna ship that persons 'gift'. OR you could also do swaps where whoever your sending something to is the person who is shipping yours.

Usually, one person offers a set number of eggs, Person #2 takes the first offer and offers something else, Person #3 takes #2's offer,etc.

The problem is that "some" people TAKE the eggs/chicks shipped to them, but do NOT ship on what they offered!! So Person #2 gets the offer, but person #3 gets shafted!!!

Do this make sense??

List those who dont ship, but in the case of eggs. Lot of members dont have the proper papers to ship. Plus some state are extra hard to ship to like VA, Your flock need test 30 days before shipping to VA.

Eggs need to be from NPIP tested flocks for most States if not its breaking the Law

This is the first I've heard about people being burned. I swapped with so many people during the last seed swap and I don't think anyone in that thread got burned. It was dangerouschickens swap. Anyone remember? And I don't like the idea of one person being in charge ONLY because I like to know what I'm trading. Get me? Anyway, I'm anxiously waiting for a swap to emerge.

They did have the
"whatchagotswap"
"crazyeggchain"
"mixedeggchain"
and "superswaps"

I personally never got burned. But I did see a lot of my friends get shafted! It is upsetting that you send out your things and some people just never deliver. There was the excuses such as....."sorry it was a short paycheck" or "my chickens quit laying" or "OMG you mean i did not send that I swear I did" "i am headed to the PO right now"

There was one person I had to get after but they DID finally make it right.

I personally LOVED the swaps!!! I got some neat things from there.

Anyways, maybe if we could post a list of the names of people who did not deliver and make it public! and that way they would not be allowed to swap (unless of course they make it right with the previous people they burned).
