Can we talk about sizzle, frizzle, and frazzle

Frizzle is a dominant gene... you don't see it, you don't have it...

if you don't have it, buy one.

I bought frizzle hatching eggs and out of those that hatched, 5, all 5 were straight feathered. you would have thought that out of 5, I'd get one frizzle but no. the seller said she would replace the eggs, now I have to pay for shipping costs (which was almost as much as I paid for eggs and shipping the first time) so I'm not doing that deal again just to get more straight feathered birds. I'm not happy I posted feedback on her shipping when I should have waited and posted on what hatched- one chick wasn't even the right color so probably no chance it came from the frizzle pen.

just be careful who you buy from, I'm still learning about frizzles.

You have to be careful with hatcheries..we ended up with a frazzle from Ideal this Spring..oh well less feathers to pluck when we eat him..too bad it's a bantam

it is completely BALD makes a NN look normal!

I have three different Frizzles
First is a standard Frizzle Cochin

Then Edward Easter Egger Frizzle

And last a Sizzle will get pic of him soon go him today he is bantam Cochin and Silkie

don't give up hoppy.

go to a swap or a show and look for an adult. It is best to have only the roo OR hen to be frizzled, you get 50/50 but it is better for the birds. right now my frizzled turken is broody, she has been in with a silkie so ???

I hatched out 7 giant frizzle cochins this week, but it is two early to tell if they are frizzled
