My samoyan did kill a chicken....but she had seen the chicken attack my then 3yo several times...my littlest is "her girl". This chicken then went after one of my other girls, pecked her she cried....chicken got her on her deriere..sneek attack, then went after the little ones face...the 14 yo dog had that chicken and broke its neck in a matter of seconds...pretty much ignores them unless the 3 yo is around. The lab young 1 year...was caught licking a chicken (she also licks my cats) has been observed to catch and play with birds but never harmed one. (can't say the same goes after bunnies) by the way the chicken was a hen, not a roo....my roo is afraid of the kids!
