Maybe it was someone who didn't know the difference between a roo and a hen and liked "her" colors and wanted some blue eggs! LOL Than when they found out he was really a roo decided they didn't want him after all because he kept flogging them!

glad hes back.
we never saw ours again.
But have another that rarely makes a sound but his beauty and his taking care of business
is great
have 3 new hens, and his broody is sitting again.
