I'm such a worry wort I'd probably keep waking them to put them on their feet like they belong.

mine did the same thing. I had them in the brooder and I guess s/he was so comfortable thats how they slept.

Okay...I'm glad mine just flatten out to sleep...I think that is strange enough. That would freak me out. I would have to constantly call my husband to the brooder if they were mine! As it is, I constantly tap the brooder to wake up those that seem to be 'resting too well.'

Yeah I'm not getting a lot of sleep. Between me and hubby, one of us is in here checking on them ocnstantly. And I do wake them up and upright them just to make sure they are alive. Can I give a chicken a nervous tick?

Not a disease.....just crazy chicks Kinda keeps it all real I guess. I mean you don't get more relaxed than that chick.

I can see that I need to start taking an aspirin a day now because when my chicks hatch around the 18th, I'm going to be in for many heart attacks.
