I had one 9month silkie hatch 5chicks in November. She was a really good Mom and hardly ever left the nest. She lost a lot of weight and I had to keep taking her off the nest to eat. Well here it is 3months later and I got too busy with kids school and field trips for 3 days to collect eggs. I went out there today and found her very broody sitting on eggs. She’s pulled her chest feathers and when I took her off the nest and took all the eggs she put herself back on the nest and sat on nothing. I checked her a few hours later and she is still sitting on nothing.

Will a broody breaking cage work on a silkie?
