Can you build your own coop?

We built our coop over the past few weeks for are mixed flock of young ones.

Absolutely!! My husband and I built our chickens' coop and we are nowhere near carpenters. Turned out to be a really nice one.

It has definitely served it's purpose. These were taken before the girls...and boy...claimed it as theirs. It isn't the fanciest but I'm happy with it and it's built for easy cleaning and egg gathering. We built the nest boxes to where I can take them out and to do the cleanings.
