Wait until at least day 7, on day 3 you won't see anything.

You're a few days early. I have some I candled last night(day 4). I could see the smallest beginnings of the spider veins in only the white shelled eggs. I try not to candle too often or too early. I read once that the embryos are fragile and it's best to leave them alone.

I candle my bantam eggs on day 5 and I can see the veins. For larger eggs I would wait and candle on days 7, 14, and 18.
