Can you determine gender by amount of spikes on combs?

Hi, I was wondering if you could determine the gender of your chick by the number of spikes they have on their combs. Does a RIR rooster have a different number of spikes then a RIR hen? Thanks.

No, all single combed birds should ideally have 5 points on their comb.
