Can you feed purina start and grow from day one?

Is it okay?? Our babies unexpectedly fast got put on a plane last night and should be here today, we feed this grain to our laying babies but not sure if its okay for meat babies too. If its NOT okay what would you suggest or if they were YOUR babies what would YOU feed them?

Start and grow is just fine for the meatbirds. I always start my meatbirds out on chick starter and then move them to a grain/corn mix and flockraiser.

do i need to add grit to it at all?

The only time you will need to add grit is if you give them treats or grain. Starter feed needs no grit.
