I have 16 dozen eggs in my fridge. All from the past 10 days, so definitely fresh. Is it possible to freeze raw eggs (after I break them open, of course!)

here's what i do:
get icecube trays, crack an egg into each slot, and sprinkle lightly with regular table salt - go easy on the salt, just shake some over the tray. I don't know what the salt does, but i have never had a bad frozen egg. when they are frozen in the trays, shake them out and store in a freezer zip-lock bag. mine keep in the freezer 4-6 weeks, but i do bake alot.

i have done it and i have never used the salt and things have been fine

i have also taken 2 eggs and placed them in those snack size bags, scramble them up and toss them in the freezer

What can you do with the froaen eggs? Just normal egg recipes? Would the whites whip up well????

once you freeze the egg its only good for baking or cooking scrambled eggs

you cant whip the whites anymore

and no it does not affect the taste of the baked goods i dont keep the eggs in the freezer long 3 - 6 months max

how do you go about thawing it before being able to use it? just let it sit out? and how long does it take?

My DH sells my eggs and everyone wants fresh eggs at Thanksgiving. He has left me buying eggs at this time.
I now freeze them so I have them to do my baking.I scramble and pour into icecube trays and then store in freezer bags 2 cubes per 1 egg.
