can you give sulmet for drinking water orally?

I have a very sick chicken who is weak and has loose stool and I want to start treatment tonight for her. Can I give the sulmet orally without mixing with water? She doesn't drink tonight. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would not. I would mix it in the water and give her a dropper full.

What is wrong with the chicken?

Thank you. Would you just mix it to the specs on the bottle for how much 4 hens would drink in a day and give her just one dropper? Or did you mean make it more concentrated. Thanks a lot.

I would mix according to the bottle. Then give her the mixture that you made in a dropper if she is not drinking.

Yeah, mix acording to bottle and let her drink. It won't kill the cocci in her, but will prevent them from multiplying.
