Can you give them a preventive dose of corrid so they don't get coccidiosis?

Are you feeding medicated or unmedicated. I feed unmedicated but do not give them anything unless they need it. Why put unneeded chemicals in their little bodies. I have been raising biddies on unmedicated feed for over a year and have only had 2 chicks with cocci. and believe me I raise alot lol
