can you give your chikens the fish guts from a cleaned fish

some of the stuff I have seen chickens eating, i think chicken guts would be fine. But DH says fish have worms

Sometimes I give my chickens fresh crab guts. They love it!

I've fed mine in years past, fish guts, carcasses from trapped animals (in the winter when they won't spoil), and fat trimmings from butchering any number of animals. Never had a problem and believe that the meat from coon, skunk, and fox carcasses are a real plus for them in the winter. Kind of a poetic justice to have the birds eating the predators...

You have just jinxed your fishing trip. You can not plan to do anything with fish you ain't caught yet!
Yes fresh fish guts would be okay.

I've twice offered the left overs from fish cleaning to my pullets and they ignored it.

They love it.

Ours really love it when we skin a deer.....they will devour a deer carcuss in a matter of an hour or so!

None of mine will eat it. It will sit out there and rot before they will even get near it. They will go up to it and shake their heads at it and run away.

With our last chickens we put a fish in there and they ran and stayed in a corner like it was a monster. They didn't leave that corner until we took the fish out.

If yours like it then I think it would be a good treat.
