I have this 3 hens I got from someone on Craigslist and he forgot to tell me what kind they were. So it’s been about a month and one started laying and she lays this gorgeous blue eggs and for me she looks more like gamefowl rather then a auracana or Easter Egger, tell me what you think. I’ll post some picture of them.

Easter eggers are mixed breeds, not pure breeds, so there’s no standard. They can look any which way.

Easter Eggers can come in a wide range of colors and combinations of traits.

EE, they aren't a breed though. More of a type. They can look like anything and lay any color egg. Though they normally lay blue or green eggs.

Yes they are Easter Eggers. Technically an Easter Egger is any chicken that carries a blue egg gene, but isn’t a pure breed.

I see, well thx, so I don’t make another post now that already created this maybe you guys can help me with another question. How to tell when hens are old? For instance I got these 3 hens they were really skinny and look beat up and old. Now that I have then they double up in weight and look a bit more awake but still looking old idk
