This is the rooster. The big black one in the middle.

And this is the hen. I bought these recently, it was a whole flock buyout and I know there are several breeds who are black in color but the only one black chickens I have owned are black sex links. I plan to resell these and would like to know what they are because that is the first question any buyer is likely to ask me. Thanks

Chuck

They look like Australorps because of the glossy, black feathers and the black feet.
Here's a picture of theose:

Australorp was my first assumption but I didn't think they were supposed to have feathered legs. Some of these have a few feathers coming in on the side of their legs. I am confused.

Barnyard mixes?

They're just when random chickens mate with the rooster and then you get a whole mix of different chicks.
