Can you help me age my chicks

To take a guess I will say they look like they are close to the golden sex links age about 5 weeks at least.
I looked up the golden sex links and they definitely do look like Golden sex Link. So I think you may be right on that matter. It's strange that the feed store would say they are Cinnamon Queens. I never seen Cinnamon Queens before and nevernever of them so I wasn't really sure what they should look like. Thank you

I have 2 questions...

I bought my Cinnamon Queens about 3 wks ago the said they were about a week old. They seem a bit older then 4 weeks ago. They are completely feathered except for a little around the sides of the neck. They fly really well already too. How old do you think they really are?

I also want to put them outside in a dog kennel wrapped in a blacket and tarp with a heat lamp. Day temp is in the 70s night time in the 50s. So my 10 wk olds can start getting use to them. Is it to soon to put them out there as long as I keep them separated from the rest of the flock?View attachment 1793794 View attachment 1793795 View attachment 1793800
4-5 weeks most likely.
They are getting adult feathers obviously. I will not go older than maximum 5 weeks

Cinnamon Queens are a cross between a New Hampshire Rooster and Silver Laced Wyandotte hens and is done because of the sex-linked color difference between male and female.

I finally got that page to loaf and the looked like the white chick. I don't know if that makes them male or female but I was told female. Also I just noticed that 2 of the 4 have split Combs. Now I'm really confused.

Wi_Pida - If you need a picture of my golden sex links I can try to post a photo of them and the other two breeds if that will help you.

I would go back to the feed store and ask them what breed you bought, their age. The feed store here has a book with all the breeds, and when they came in into the store. Ours is 90% sexed they said.

They told us they were females. They have had in a rare instance over the years had a few Roosters.

Big retailers are selling pullets, but there is catch I bought 14 pullets and three 0f them were boys ! After I contacted Orscheln Farm, they said that there is not gender warranty. Luckily I got housed two Rosters in good hands and kept one.Rosters are also friendlier and more docile as chicks. Protruding serrated comb is first sign that "pullet" will become a boy! Some other small exterior signs can tell you what makes difference between pullets and rosters. We love one we kept, because it's very nice and friendly.(see photo) 20190416_231703_1555474684862_001.jpg

You have cinnamon queen roosters... Take a look at what a hen should look like... Sorry if this is bad news, but the truth is the truth... Cinnamon Queen hens are red. Cinnamon Queen roosters are colored like yours. Even when you order hens, hatcheries will often include extra chicks, and often those extra chicks are male. Those in the know bought all the hens, and what was left was most likely the ones you have. Someone should have told you where you bought them, but obviously didn't because either they didn't know either or just wanted them gone. If you were told these were females you should go back to where you got them and complain and get your money back! https://www.hoovershatchery.com/cinnamonqueen.html
