Can you help me figure out what my chicks are? (Lots of pics!)

Sorry, my pictures aren't the best. My chicks were being returned to their brooder after a day of playing outside and weren't happy about being held.

They're almost 3 weeks, somewhere between 2 weeks/6 days and 3 weeks.

I requested Wheaten Ameraucanas and Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, but their Ameraucanas weren't laying well. They subsituted Olive Eggers for them, and I think they only sent 1 Ameraucana. I sent them a pic of the babies who didn't make it through shipping and they thought the Ameraucana had died.

I am pretty new to chickens, and am having so much trouble deciphering who is what. Can you help?

I have 2 of these, they are a pretty buff, almost wheaten color.

I have two of these. They have beautiful blue/gray and cream feathers. Are their legs slate?

This one is really interesting. Has a mohawk/crest. Slate legs. Beautiful blue/gray feathers.

Same one...

I have quite a few of these. I figure these are probably olive eggers? Black and white, many of them have feathers on their legs.

Maybe this is my only BLRW, and it's black, ha ha.

This is the second of the beautiful gray and cream babies.

Any ideas you guys have I would love to hear.

Looks like you guys are just as stumped as I am. I'll post more pics in a couple weeks, once they feather out more.

well with the ameraucana they would have been ee's since they were coming from a hatchery as for the rest comb shots and pics of them standing on their own would probably also help

They didn't come from a hatchery, I got them from a breeder. They are Wheaten Ameraucanas.

I will try again sometime with better pictures.

I hope these pics are better. (they're 3weeks, 3days in these pics.)

I just researched their site more and discovered that they have wheaten marans, which look a lot like my light girls and the gray/cream ones. They also have silkies that have mohawks!

Once again, I ordered Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas, but they went broody, my order was filled with mostly olive eggers. If I happen to have one Ameraucana, it may be the one with the mohawk in my 3rd and 4th pics above. Can't figure out the mohawk...
I also ordered BLRW, but think I only have the one black one.

All of the chicks except Mohawk have green/slate legs. Mohawk has truly slate legs..

I'm just making sure I'm right that the majority of my birds are Olive Eggers, nothing else. Unfortunately...

I have a few of these black and cream ones. I believe they're olive eggers, looks like I have a roo and pullet, and maybe another roo staring at me.

This is the one and only BLRW, I think.

These have been my favorite colors so far. Blue gray with cream bellies.

Better pic of her legs.

These are my favorites because they're so friendly.

i dont see any with a beard which means there are no Ameraucanas as they have beards hmmm...do any of them have a beard? i would say the one with slate legs could be an Ameraucana but they dont have crest. the blrw looks to be golden laced instead of blue laced...

in the first pic i see left to right pullet cockerel cockerel
looks like a cockerel

like polish and sultans do...are you sure thats the only breeds they have and that they are penned separately by breed? the black ones remind me of black copper marans chicks without the feathered feet (which they do come in)

i dont think you have a single ameraucana as they all appear to have straight combs and no beards...ameraucanas have pea combs and would look similar to the wyandottes comb

Quote: Those would most likely be your Olive Eggers.
I think though if I ordered Wheaten Ameraucana's and they sent Olive Eggers I'd be a little ticked off.

And yes that Wyandotte is a Golden Laced variety not a Blue Laced Red. Again ticked off (not what you ordered is it)?

Nope, none have a beard. They said they only sent 1 Ameraucana, and when I sent them a pic of the ones that didn't survive the trip, they said it didn't make it. I was hoping they were wrong.
They don't have Polish or Suntans, according to their web site. Guess that means I have a silkie now. Huh.
I believe they also have black copper marans, and many of the chicks do have feathers on their legs.

I ordered from them because they shipped day old Ameraucanas, and I have never hatched before, didn't want to risk it on such an expensive bird, but needed a new roo and wanted to begin narrowing my flock to only birds I love.

That's what I figured about the OEggers. They emailed me before they sent them, told me their Ameraucanas had slowed laying and asked to substitute some. I didn't realize to what extent they had slowed!

I'm not at all happy to hear about the Wyandotte. I figured it was just the black of the BLR, not a separate color altogether. They say that they keep their flock separate, but apparently, something went wrong. Ugh. I'm having a time trying to get myself some BLRW.

Maybe it's time to invest in an incubator.
