@donrae, you might be on to something there... Knowing MMM, their freebies are usually cockerels, and they have the true blues, but there have been a lot of complaints that their true blues are not Dr. Whitings True Blues, but "knockoffs"... They might be trying to dump the cockerels...

The "varied plumage" makes me wonder if that isn't what they are?
