Can you help me out ?

I picked up my very first turkeys this morning. I have 3. They came from the Happy Cackle special and I narrowed down the breeds to be either Bronze Brested or Narragansett. What do you guys think ?



Oh and their only in with the chicks until they've all drank and warmed up, then they have their own brooder.

I vote Narragansett Check porters website, they also have poultry pictures. We have bronze, and they don't quite look like that. That is what I'm basing my vote on

I also vote narragansett, they look a little to light to be bronze in my opinion

Thanks, i about had myself convinced BB from looking at google images and the feather site but still wasnt sure. I guess i should start looking at more narragansett pics lol

That is the "snood" it will grow.
all turkeys should have it.

At what stage in their life(the earliest that you'll see the difference) will the males snoods look bigger than the females snoods?
