this is my friends chicken still young yet had a few feathers on the feet we were thinking Black Langshan* but not 100% sure??

My bad!!!! I did not see the feathers on the legs. It has to be a cross then.

I have to agree with the mixed breed suggestion. The bird just doesn't have the body shape or the length of legs that a Langshan has. Though by judging body and face it does remind me of the black Australorp, so maybe it is a cross from that.

They do look a lot like marans, they were selling a lot of those! they are very pretty guess we will see when they start laying!!!
