can you house button quail chicks and chicken chicks in the same brooder?

No. The quail chicks are the size of the chickens' HEADS. The massive size difference means that the chicks would probably kill the quail, simply by trampling them if not by outright attacking them.

x2 bad idea for a variety of reasons! Mainly trampling and disease. Plus, regular chick waterers are often big enough for quail chicks to drown in.
